Sculpture No.2
This piece is now made-to-order, Lead time 4 weeks to build.
This hand built sculpture is created using a coiling technique and textured by hand to give a rough finish. A heavily grogged, cream coloured clay body was used to create a dynamic external layer to the piece and a stone-like textural feel. Designed to loosely reference Edward Weston’s ‘Shells’ (1927) photograph, the work explores shapes in nature, playing with the idea of perfect balance. This artwork is intended to be an eye-catching feature in any space.
20cm x 10cm x 20cm
Each piece has been handcrafted with care and intention. They may differ slightly due to their unique, handmade nature. Variations may include but are not limited to colour, texture, and size.
